Tree removal
Big trees. Tight spaces. Nothing lands where it shouldn’t.
Most of the trees we remove are tall pines and hardwoods standing a few feet from a house, a fence, a pool or a power drop. Felling them in one piece isn’t an option. Taking them apart from the top down is.
Depending on the tree and the yard, we work from our aerial spider lift, climb, or rig sections down on ropes. Tops come out first, then limbs, then the trunk in sections small enough to control. It’s slower than dropping a tree — and it’s why customers tell us we didn’t crack their driveway or touch their live oaks.
When a tree should come down
- Dead or dying pines (they get brittle fast)
- A new or worsening lean toward a structure
- Cracks, splits or a broken top
- Fungus or rot at the base
- Roots lifting or soil heaving after storms
- Storm damage hung up in other trees
Not sure? We’ll give you an honest opinion. A licensed arborist will tell you when a tree can be saved with pruning instead.
Storm damage and urgent removals
After hurricanes and severe storms, we prioritize trees on houses, blocked driveways and anything that’s a danger to people. Call (985) 273-5692 directly for urgent storm work. We’ll also document the damage with photos for your insurance claim.
Stumps and cleanup
Every removal includes cleanup. We can haul wood, leave it cut to firewood length, and add stump grinding so you can replant, sod or pour over the spot.
